Information RIDR handles

Depending on how you use RIDR, this may include:

• Account details such as your name, email, username and profile information
• Ride routes, location points, distance, duration, speed and checkpoints
• Ride photos, captions and content you choose to publish or share
• Device, app, crash and security information used to operate and improve RIDR
• Messages and attachments you choose to send to RIDR Support or Feedback

Location

RIDR uses location when you start a ride or another location-based feature. Background location may be needed to continue recording while the app is not on screen. You can manage device permissions or stop an active ride; restricting location can prevent route recording from working.

RIDR uses ride location to record and show routes and ride details. It is shared with others only through features and visibility choices you select. RIDR does not sell precise ride-location information.

Use and sharing

RIDR uses information to provide ride recording, history, statistics, sharing and community features; secure accounts; respond to support and reports; fix problems; and meet legal obligations.

A ride or profile may be visible to other riders when you publish it, share it or use a live-location feature. RIDR also uses service providers for hosting, maps, sign-in, notifications and diagnostics. They process information to provide services for RIDR. Third-party services you choose to use are also governed by their own privacy notices.

Retention and deletion

RIDR keeps information while needed to provide the service, maintain your account and rides, protect RIDR, handle reports or meet legal requirements. You can request account deletion in the app under Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, contact Support.

Some information may be kept for a limited time where needed for security, legal compliance or dispute resolution. Removing the app from your phone does not delete your RIDR account.

Your choices

You can manage device permissions, ride visibility and sharing settings in RIDR and your device. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. RIDR may need to verify your account before completing a request.

RIDR is intended for people who meet the age requirement shown during sign-up. Read the Child Safety Standards for RIDR’s rules and reporting contact.
